Being organic signifies not just freedom from chemicals but also a commitment to a healthier world, as organic farms adhere to rigorous standards. As for the "Lao" part, it reflects the culinary preferences of the Lao region in Southeast Asia, where extra spicy dishes with rich umami flavors are beloved. This versatile sauce isn't just for adding heat; it's a base for crafting various other sauces and marinades.  Here are a few delicious ideas. 

Recipe for Lao Sriracha Bbq sauce

 

 Ingredients****

2 tbs. sugar

1 tsp. salt

3 tbs. soy sauce

3 tbs. Lao Sriracha

1 tsp. black pepper

2 tsp. sesame oil

1tsp. msg (optional)

3 tbs. ketchup

¼ chopped onion

2 tbs. canola or veg. oil

Start by heating oil in a saucepan over medium-low heat, then add chopped onions. Once the onions have become translucent, incorporate the remaining ingredients. Allow the mixture to simmer together for an additional 10 minutes. Voila! You've got yourself a delicious zesty and spicy BBQ sauce!

Recipe for Sriracha Ponzu


Ingredients 

4 cloves crushed garlic

1 cup white vinegar

1/2 cup regular soy sauce (Kikomon brand)

1/2 light soy sauce (Kikomon brand)

3 tbs. light brown sugar

1/2 cup Lao Sriracha (adjust to spiciness)

Dice 4 cloves of garlic finely, then blend all the ingredients together. Ta-da! Quick and effortless, yet incredibly delicious! This sauce complements my hotpot perfectly, enhancing the flavors of both meats and veggies. For an added dimension of nuttiness to counterbalance the tanginess, don't overlook the sesame sauce. It's a symphony of delightful flavors that tantalize your taste buds. Absolutely essential for a culinary adventure!

Sesame Dip

Ingredients 

1/2 cup white sesame seed paste ( must be white)

2 tbs. mayo

2 tbs. soy sauce (kikkomon brand)

1/4 cup mirin (sweet rice wine)

2 tbs. rice wine vinegar

1 1/2 tbs. fermented soy bean paste (doenjang)

1 tbs. sesame oil

1 tbs. sugar

1 1/2 tbs. water

Begin by arranging the ingredients in the specified order, then thoroughly combine and blend them. This mixture pairs perfectly with the Sriracha ponzu. First, immerse your taste buds in the tangy ponzu, followed by a dip into the rich, nutty sesame paste. The result? A truly mouthwatering experience!

If you want your sesame dip spicy just add chili oil!!
